Lovely property, beautifully furnished and great attention to detail. Brilliant book collection with something for everyone. Thoroughly enjoyed reading to our little granddaughter. Good outside space. Nice to be able to relax in the hot tub. It was a nice surprise to see a raised stand with bowls provided for the dogs, very thoughtful. Super local bakery and shop in walking distance.

Wow! Porthilly is a real Grand Designs property and has just the perfect amount of home from home comforts. It's a real luxury property which is kept to a good standard with quality furnishings and fittings. The property was spotless, glass cleaned and no dust / hair behind the beds and in the corners - the housekeeping team clearly have good attention to detail and we really appreciated this. The hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled between stays (this isn't the case with all holiday companies and was one of the reasons we chose Cornish Gems). We were reassured too to see the mid week check of the hot tub.
