Nestled in the heart of Trevone, Jackdaws is a vibrant jungle of colors that has undergone a magical transformation. With its bright and bold patterns, jewel colours, and touches of luxury, this three-bedroom Gem, originally a blank canvas, now stands as a family-friendly retreat exuding joy and extravagance.

“We stayed in a Cornish Gems property back in 2021 and we were impressed with the quality of the property and the Cornish Gems service. The property is full of character externally, and inside it has a beautiful quality of light that soothes the senses. The garden was carefully matured by the previous owners and has many unusual and interesting sub tropical plants – apparently many of them are similar to those that grow in New Zealand! We love the sea and cliff top panorama with the round-hole and the little island off the coast.”

The owners were keen to create a home that was special and unique, with the help of our in-house Interiors team. The blend of traditional and contemporary design reflects the owner’s style, making Jackdaws a true eclectic and exciting space to reside in.

“Tara and Phoebe immediately identified that there was an opportunity to show case the beauty of the garden by choosing patterns and interiors that mirrored the vibrant and unusual plants and foliage. This fitted with our own thoughts to make the interiors colourful and fun.”

Local Makers

Our Gems Interiors team works hard to create fantastic spaces, using suppliers who are based locally. The incredibly comfortable sofas are made in the UK, along with the curtains and blinds, which are custom crafted for the extra special touch.

Transformative Spaces

Much of Jackdaws has been brought to life from the ground up. What was a completely lifeless garage has now been transformed into a warm, inviting ‘bootility’, ideal for those muddy wellies. The boot room has also been equipped with a separate bathroom and a shower, to further accelerate the reconstructed space.

The stunning garden space in Jackdaws is beyond extraordinary. Whether you’re a yoga-enthusiast or are keen to find your zen, the tempting garden room is the perfect place to unwind. Alternatively, rejuvenate in the sauna pod for ultimate relaxation.

“Trevone is suited to people who enjoy the beach, walking, and nature, whatever their age.  The property taps into this by providing a beautiful garden to relax in, with hot tub and sauna for well-being, especially after exercise, whatever the weather!”
